Little Knights and Dames: 2 Hour Format

Depending upon how many children you have, try breaking them up into 2 or 4 groups. 

Have some fun, name each group, Red Castle, Blue Castle, Yellow Castle, Green Castle.

Have children go to their  assigned place.

Open in prayer, then pledges to the American Flag, Christian Flag, & Bible .

After pledges, any announcements, etc. 

This is where each group will be different,  if possible try to have games that include everyone, such as:

Pictionary, Charades, Board Games Family Feud, Pokeno/Bingo etc. 

Or as you see fit.

After game time is over, allow 10-15 minutes for a drink of water & restroom break:

Each child learns differently, so allow 2 or 3 helps with each work page.

Since everyone has the same workbook, allow children to help each other.

As the children learn their verses mark down what verses they learned, and at the end of the night they will receive their allotted Denarius (Coin) every page completed receives 1 Denarius or as you see fit. Some pages are hard and you could give them a special coin that is worth 5 Denarius.  

After the children have done their verses, everyone gets back on their Knight color, 

A leader can then have a lesson or message for the group 15-20 minutes,

After the message, each young Knight or Dame will receive their Denarius for lessons completed.

End in prayer.

Dismissal
